The digital economic transformation has driven changes in consumer behavior and marketing patterns, requiring Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to adopt digital marketing strategies to enhance their competitiveness and sales. This study aims to analyze the role of digital marketing and identify effective digital marketing strategies for increasing MSME sales in the digital economy era. The study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method. The data used consists of secondary data obtained from scientific articles, books, government agency reports, and publications by international organizations relevant to the research topic. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, categorization, interpretation, and drawing conclusions. The study’s findings show that digital marketing plays a crucial role in expanding market reach, improving marketing cost efficiency, strengthening brand awareness, building customer loyalty, and enhancing the competitiveness of MSMEs. Digital marketing strategies deemed effective include social media marketing, content marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), marketplaces, digital advertising, email marketing, influencer marketing, and data-driven marketing. This study concludes that the implementation of integrated, adaptive, and data-driven digital marketing strategies can increase sales while strengthening the sustainability and competitiveness of SMEs in the digital economy era.References
