Utilization of ChatGPT-Based Artificial Intelligence Technology to Support the Learning Process of Economics Education Students of the Class of 2023 at Muhammadiyah University of Sampit

Technological development in Artificial Intelligence (AI) has brought significant changes to the world of education, particularly in the learning process in higher education. One AI technology that is widely utilized by students is ChatGPT, which is able to provide information quickly, help understand the material, and support the completion of academic assignments. This study aims to describe the use of technology. Artificial Intelligence application-basedChatGPT to support the learning process of Economics Education students of the 2023 intake of Muhammadiyah University of Sampit. The study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that ChatGPT provides benefits in increasing learning effectiveness, aiding understanding of the material, supporting independent learning, increasing learning interactivity, providing rapid feedback, and supporting adaptive learning. However, several obstacles remain, such as limited internet connection and the need to verify information from other sources. Therefore, ChatGPT can be used as an additional learning resource that supports the student learning process effectively and efficiently.References
