Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of social capital in sustaining community groups based on women's empowerment. Previous studies on Rengganis Women Farmers Group have mostly emphasized social innovation and CSR support, while studies mapping the use of bonding, bridging, and linking social capital in group sustainability remain limited. This study aims to analyze the use of social capital in Rengganis 76 Women Farmers Group in Kamojang Hamlet. A descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study, then analyzed thematically based on Woolcock's concept of social capital. The findings show that bonding social capital is reflected in collective work, sense of belonging, and member participation; bridging social capital appears through cooperation with Kamojang Bersih Group and the Kahuripan Kamojang educational tourism network; while linking social capital is reflected in support from PT PLN Indonesia Power UBP Kamojang and local government. These three forms of social capital support group sustainability, member capacity building, and women's empowerment through integrated farming. This study contributes to social welfare studies by showing that the sustainability of women farmers groups is shaped not only by program assistance, but also by social relations and institutional access.
