In today’s modern era, problem-solving skills have become a crucial pillar that students must master to prepare for the challenges of the 21st century. However, the reality of biology instruction at SMAN 22 Surabaya, particularly when discussing the topic of environmental change, is still dominated by the presentation of theory and offers little opportunity for students to contribute directly to problem-solving activities. Based on this issue, this study aims to develop an E-LKPD (Electronic Learning Worksheet) based on Problem-Based Learning for the topic of environmental change to effectively train the problem-solving skills of 10th-grade high school students. The developed E-LKPD was evaluated for its suitability through testing against three main parameters: validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This study employed the 4-D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) and was pilot-tested with 20 10th-grade students at SMAN 22 Surabaya. The research instruments consisted of a validation sheet, an observation sheet, a response questionnaire, and a student learning outcome test. Data analysis was conducted using quantitative descriptive analysis. The validation results of the developed E-LKPD, based on content, presentation, and language aspects, yielded an average of 94% (highly valid). The practicality of the E-LKPD was assessed through observation of student activity implementation at 100% and student responses with an average of 98% (highly practical). The effectiveness of the E-LKPD was assessed.Downloads
