This study aims to analyze the management of lecturer welfare at the Al Amin Islamic College (STAI) in Dompu, focusing on planning, implementation, and evaluation, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors, including institutional efforts to improve lecturer welfare. A qualitative case study approach was used in this study. Data were collected through interviews with the Head of the Foundation, the Head of STAI, lecturers, and students, with questions centered on the management of lecturer welfare. The results show that lecturer welfare has been integrated into institutional planning and managed through coordination between STAI management and the foundation. The forms of welfare provided include financial and non-financial aspects, such as monthly salaries based on teaching attendance, additional honorariums for certain tasks (such as supervising and examining theses), transportation support for certain activities, provision of work facilities, daily consumption, and support for professional development. The transition from a semester-based salary payment system to a monthly system represents a significant improvement. However, welfare management is still hampered by limited and unstable funding, including uncertain student tuition payments and limitations in facilities, communication, and the level of discipline of some lecturers. Evaluations were conducted through meetings and coordination, with improvements implemented gradually. This study concluded that the management of lecturer welfare at STAI Al Amin Dompu is evolving toward a more systematic process; however, strengthening of financial capacity, transparent welfare policies, facilities, professional development, and formal recognition mechanisms is still needed.References
