Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya meningkatkan kemampuan belajar melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD siswa kelas V SDN NO.198/I pasar baru.Populasi yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalahsiswa-siswi kelas VSDN No. 198/I Pasar Baru.Data yang diperlukan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi pengolahan metode pembelajaran kooperatif model STAD, observasi aktivitas siswa ,guru, dan tes formatif. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipeSTAD mempunyai pengaruh positif, yaitu dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil wawancara dengan beberapa siswa, rata-rata jawaban siswa menyatakan bahwa mereka tertarik dan berminat dengn model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD sehingga mereka menjadi termotivasi untuk belajar.
