Pertanggungjawaban Direksi dalam suatu perusahaan kerap menjadi tanda tanya di tengah masyarakat terutama dalam perusahaan perbankan yang dimana bank sendiri sudah menjadi bagian dari kebutuhan sehari-hari masyarakat di Indonesia. Pertanggungjawaban direksi dapat berupa pertanggungjawaban secara hukum baik pidana maupun perdata namun adapula alternative lain yang dapat digunakan dalam penyelesaian masalah kerugian nasabah perbankan yaitu dengan permusyawaratan.
