Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan fungsi DPRD dalam penyusunan rancangan peraturan daerah di DPRD Kabupaten Limapuluh Kota tahun 2014-2019. penyusunan rancangan peraturan daerah berdasarkan inisiatif DPRD Kabupaten Limapuluh Kota belum terlaksana dengan optimal. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik purpose sampling dalam pemilihan informan. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara dan dokumentasi penelitian untuk menguji keabsahan data penelitiam ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Pada analisis penulis data menggunakan teknik analisis berupa reduksi data, penyajian data dan pernaikan kesimpulan. Lokasi penelitian dilakuan di DPRD Kabupaten Limapuluh Kota.
