Dalam perspektif hukum sebagai sarana pembaharuan masyarakat, hukum pidana anak merupakan bidang hukum yang sangat penting. Hukum pidana memiliki perhatian dalam perlindungan anak. Di tingkat internasional, terdapat beberapa dokumen yang mengatur tentang perlindungan anak dalam peradilan pidana. Dokumen internasional tersebut adalah Universal Declaration of Human Rights); International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights; International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. Kemudian yang lebih spesifik adalah The Convention on the Rights of the Child , Convention Against Torture And Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, The Beijing Rules (Res.No.40/33 Tahun1985). The Riyadh Guidelines (A/Res/45/112Tahun 1990). Semua instrumen internasional tersebut di atas, dimaksudkan untuk memberikan jaminan perlindungan hak-hak anak secara lebih kuat ketika mereka berhadapan dengan hukum dan harus menjalani proses peradilan pidanaDownloads
