ENGARUH MODEL PRAKTIKUM FISIKA BEBRASIS GUIDED INKUIRI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN FISIKA UIN MATARAM

Abstract


The recent study aims to investigate the influence of the physic practice model based on guided inkuiri  to improve student science process skills (SPS) student physics UIN Mataram on the topic about temperature and heat. The research method used for this purpose is quasi experiment of one group pretest and posttest design which involving student physics UIN Mataram. The instruments being used are written test, students worksheet, and observation sheet. The findings show that the physics practice model based on guided inkuiri  significantly improves student science process skills (SPS) with average score 75.76% and 76.01% and N-gain score 0.51 dan 0.47 with the medium category. The highest improvement occurs on date analysis. Meanwhile, the lowest improvement occurs on the indicator of operational definition variable. In general, students give positive responses to the learning process where the learning process provides them the opportunity to actively take participation and improves students’ interest and motivation since it is connected to students experience of their daily life
