KEEFEKTIFAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN GUIDED INQUIRY DAN PBL DALAM PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK DITINJAU DARI PRESTASI BELAJAR MATEMATIKA DAN SIKAP ILMIAH

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan membandingkan keefektifan model pembelajaran Guided Inquiry dan PBL dalam pendekatan saintifik ditinjau dari prestasi belajar matematika dan sikap ilmiah siswa SMP Kelas VIII. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan pretest-posttest non-ekuivalen group design. Populasi penelitian ini mencakup seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP N 2 Godean yang terdiri dari empat kelas, yang dua kelasnya ditentukan secara acak sebagai sampel. Kelas VIII-B diberi perlakuan dengan model pembelajaran Guided Inquiry dalam pendekatan saintifik, sedangkan kelas VIII-A diberi perlakuan dengan model pembelajaran PBL dalam pendekatan saintifik. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari soal tes prestasi belajar matematika dan angket sikap ilmiah dalam pembelajaran matematika. Untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran Guided Inquiry dan PBL dalam pendekatan saintifik pada masing-masing variabel, digunakan uji one sampel t-test. Selanjutnya untuk membandingkan keefektifan model pembelajaran Guided Inquiry dan PBL dalam pendekatan saintifik di analisis secara multivariat menggunakan uji T2 Hotelling’s pada taraf signifikan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Guided Inquiry dan PBL dalam pendekatan saintifik efektif ditinjau dari prestasi belajar matematika dan sikap ilmiah dalam pembelajaran matematika dan model pembelajaran Guided Inquiry dalam pendekatan saintifik tidak lebih efektif daripada model pembelajaran PBL dalam pendekatan saintifik ditinjau dari prestasi belajar matematika dan sikap ilmiah siswa dalam pembelajaran matematikaReferences
