Budaya berolahraga anak Jawa Timur: Studi kontrastif berdasarkan urbanitas dan jenis sekolah

Abstract


ABSTRAK

Pendidikan Jasmani dan Olahraga adalah intrumen yang efektif untuk mengembangkan budaya berolahraga peserta didik, ada cukup bukti bahwasanya budaya berolahraga dipengaruhi oleh faktor geografis. Penelitian ini mengajukan permasalahan: apakah budaya berolahraga anak usia Sekolah Dasar Jawa Timur telah memenuhi kriteria yang telah ditetapkan serta membandingkan budaya berolahraga anak usia Sekolah Dasar Jawa Timur berdasarkan Urbanitas dan Jenis sekolah. Untuk itu digunakan pengumpulan data secara daring yang dikenal dengan Internet Mediated Research (IMR). Data berskala interval dan nominal, data  interval adalah budaya berolahraga dan data nominal adalah urbanitas dan jenis sekolah, karena itu data dianalisis dengan teknik uji-t rerata tunggal dan Uji dua rerata kelompok independen, disimpulkan bahwa budaya berolahraga anak usia Sekolah Dasar Jawa Timur telah memenuhi kriteria baik yang telah ditetapkan, tidak terdapat perbedaan budaya berolahraga anak usia Sekolah Dasar Perkotaan dan Pedesaan di Jawa Timur dan tidak terdapat  perbedaan budaya olahraga peserta didik Sekolah Dasar dan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah di Jawa Timur.

Physical education and sports are effective instruments to develop a student's sports culture, there is sufficient evidence that sports culture is influenced by geographical factors. This study poses a problem: whether the sports culture of East Java elementary school age children has met the established criteria and compares the sports culture of East Java elementary school age children based on urbanity and school type. To answer this, an online data collection known as Internet Mediated Research (IMR) was carried out. The data are interval and nominal scale, of which the interval is sport culture and the nominal is urbanity and type of school, therefore the data were analyzed using an independent sample t-test technique, namely with a single mean test with criteria and 2 different tests, single t-mean and independent t-test, It was concluded that the sports culture of East Java Elementary School age children had met the established criteria, there were no differences in the sports culture of East Java Elementary and Rural Elementary School age children and there were no differences in the sports culture of Elementary School and Islamic Elementary School students in East Java
