Using Two Stay Two Stray (TS-TS) Method With Visual Media to Increase Students’ Speaking

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa dengan menggunakan metode two stay-two stray dengan media visual. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas untuk menganalisis peningkatan keterampilan berbicara siswa. Berdasarkan hasil tes pada siklus I dan siklus II rata-rata nilai pembelajaran pendahuluan adalah 4,1 (25%) terdapat 5 (25%) siswa yang memperoleh nilai diatas KKM sedangkan yang lainnya siswa 15 (75%) berada di bawah kriteria. Nilai rata-rata tes berbicara siswa siklus I adalah 7,2 (65%) terdapat 13 (65%) siswa yang memperoleh nilai di atas Kriteria Skor Minimal (KKM) dan 7 (35%) siswa berada di bawah KKM. KKM. Nilai rata-rata tes berbicara siswa siklus 2 adalah 8,7 (90%) terdapat 18 (90%) yang memperoleh nilai di atas Kriteria Nilai Minimum (KKM) dan 2 ((10%) siswa berada di bawah nilai Kriteria Nilai Minimum (KKM). Hasil ini menunjukkan kondisi yang lebih baik di kelas bahasa Inggris. Karena siswa mampu menggunakan bahasa Inggris di kelas interaktif. Jadi peneliti memutuskan bahwa penerapan metode two stay two stray (TS-TS) dengan media visual dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa dengan belajar aktif dan menikmati aktivitas.References
